Lead Your Journey

Youth Empowerment & Entrepreneurship Camp

This isn’t your average summer camp — this is where confidence meets direction and ideas turn into something real. The Lead Your Journey Youth Empowerment & Entrepreneurship Camp gives teens the tools to take control of their future by teaching them how to think like leaders, act like business owners, and believe in their ability to build something that lasts.

Led by Bill Hoopes, a U.S. Navy veteran, business owner, author, and founder of Lead Your Journey and Florida PGF, this four-day experience blends real-world business education with the same mindset and leadership principles used by high-performing athletes, entrepreneurs, and professionals across the country.

What makes this camp different:

This isn’t a sit-and-listen program. It’s hands-on, high-energy, and results-driven. Students will spend each day creating something tangible — their own legally structured business idea, complete with a name, brand, marketing plan, and registration checklist ready for launch.

Camp Overview:

  • Day 1 – Discover Your Strengths & Define Your Purpose
    • Students kick off the week by uncovering their strengths, passions, and the problems they want to solve. Through guided reflection and real examples from Lead Your Journey, they’ll learn how confidence and focus shape success — then transform their interests into a business idea with real-world potential.
  • Day 2 – Build & Structure Your Business
    • Now the ideas take shape. Students learn exactly how to turn their concept into a real business — registering it legally, securing an EIN, and completing their first business plan. With hands-on guidance, they’ll organize their thoughts into a professional one-page plan that outlines mission, audience, pricing, and goals. They’ll even explore how franchises scale success, opening their minds to bigger opportunities.
  • Day 3 – Brand, Market & Communicate Like a Leader
    • This day is all about creativity and communication. Students bring their business to life with branding — designing a logo, developing their story, and learning how to connect with customers through marketing. They’ll build their first social media strategy and learn how to present themselves as young professionals ready to lead.
  • Day 4 – Money, Confidence & The Showcase
    • Students finish strong by learning how to manage money, understand taxes, and make smart financial decisions. Then they step into the spotlight to pitch their business in the Lead Your Journey Youth Showcase, presenting their work to mentors, parents, and professionals. This moment ties it all together — belief, preparation, and the courage to lead their own journey.

Parent Showcase:

Wednesday, July 15, 6:00–7:30 PM - Come see your child's business.

Why Parents Love It:

This camp doesn’t just teach business — it teaches ownership. It shows young people how to make decisions, communicate with confidence, manage money, and follow through on their goals. They don’t just learn theory; they experience what it means to start something from scratch and see it through.

What Participants Take Home:

Every student leaves with their own business plan, registration guide, branding board, financial tracker, certificate, and a clear plan for what’s next. But more than that, they leave believing in themselves.

If your son or daughter is creative, ambitious, or searching for direction, this camp will give them the tools, mindset, and mentorship to turn potential into purpose. Spots are limited, and this one will fill quickly.
